Priya Parker, USA
Residency Dates:
September 23-October 4, 2024
“Specificity is the gateway to meaningful gathering."
Priya Parker is a facilitator, author, and one of the world’s leading thinkers on the art of gathering. Her work explores how we come together - with greater intention, generosity, and purpose - and how meaningful encounters can transform the way we live, work, and relate to one another. She is the bestselling author of The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters, and more cecently: The Art of Fighting: The Transformative Power of Conflict.
During her residency, Priya Parker explored Paris as a laboratory for more intentional forms of gathering. She joined Résidence Tallard Program Director Ella Marder for a Creative Morning conversation at My Little Paris and convened an intimate lunch for ten guests at the residence. The interview helped introduce her work to a wider French audience and led Éditions Eyrolles to acquire The Art of Gathering for publication in French.
