Lucia Donadio is a Naples-born, Paris-based chef whose practice brings together food, research, and hospitality. After studying political philosophy and psychology, she trained with three-Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito before developing a deeply personal approach to cooking rooted in care, seasonality, memory, and the cultures of the Mediterranean.

Through shared meals, banquets, and workshops, Lucia approaches the table as a space for encounter, transmission, and conversation. Working exclusively with seasonal, artisanal ingredients, she explores the stories carried by food and the connections between territory, biodiversity, ecology, and conviviality.

Lucia has been Chef in Residence at Résidence Tallard since its inception in spring 2024. She creates the meals that accompany each residency, guided by the belief that some of our most meaningful conversations begin around a table. From Priya Parker and Felwine Sarr to Michael Pollan and Satish Kumar, she has welcomed Tallard’s residents by making each meal an extension of the residency itself—a space where hospitality becomes a form of creation, attention, and dialogue.

Beyond Tallard, Lucia contributed to the development of the Open Kitchen project at Al Hitmi for Qatar Museums and collaborates with KADIST and Roscioli on projects spanning research, transmission, and cultural activation. Her work has taken her from Paris to Doha, Sardinia to San Francisco, always grounded in the conviction that cooking is, above all, about creating the conditions for people to come together.
