One of the world’s most influential psychotherapists, Esther Perel has transformed how we think about love, intimacy, desire, and modern relationships. Born in Antwerp and based in New York, her work bridges psychology, culture, and storytelling, inviting millions of people to approach the complexities of human connection with greater curiosity and compassion. She is the bestselling author of Mating in Captivity and The State of Affairs, and host of the acclaimed podcast Where Should We Begin?.
During her residency in Paris, Esther Perel used the city as a space for reflection, dialogue, and experimentation, deepening her exploration of intimacy, identity, and the changing nature of human relationships. Her residency unfolded through a series of public conversations - including a Grand Entretien with Maïa Mazaurette at the Grand Palais, presented with the Centre Pompidou as part of FUN PALACE, and a dialogue at INSEAD - as well as intimate salons at Résidence Tallard, including a memorable evening with Delphine Horvilleur. She recorded many podcasts, and aired on Lea Salamé's La Matinale.
