Ana Elisa Sotelo is a Peruvian artist, photographer, and educator whose work explores the intersections of gender, identity, ecology, and social justice. Blending documentary photography with collaborative artistic practice, she creates visual narratives that examine our relationship with one another and with the natural world. Her work has appeared in National Geographic, The New York Times, Vogue, and The Washington Post, and has been exhibited internationally.
Invited in partnership with the Fondation Louis Roederer after receiving its inaugural Thinking Sustainability Prize, Ana Elisa Sotelo used her residency at Tallard to develop new work at the intersection of art, environmental awareness, and collective care. The residency offered time for research, reflection, and exchange within Paris’s artistic and intellectual communities.
